About Galla-Rini Roofing

Contact Us for an Estimate on a New Roof or Roof Repairs

Before you get a quote, please take a few minutes to learn how to find a professional roofing contractor. Or you might spend the next 10 years wishing you did.

Most homeowners only hire a roofing contractor every 10 years or more and many don’t know how to compare proposals or what questions to ask to evaluate each company.

The roofing trade requires continuous learning about new materials and construction methods that, in many cases, will save the homeowner on energy costs, and labor costs and add to the longevity of your roof.

Roofing materials and installation methods have all changed dramatically in the last 5 to 10 years. Each new product requires training to ensure the proper installation.

Galla-Rini Roofing hires and trains all of our roofers in our installation methods. Miles trains each crew member and never leaves them to learn on their own. We believe that our approach to training means we have loyal and dedicated employees that are committed to our methods.

How Much is My New Roof Going to Cost?

If this is the main way you will decide, you are very likely to end up with a roof that leaks or tiles or shingles that come loose in the next year.

The following caution is from the CSLB website:

“Do not automatically accept the lowest bid. In fact, you should beware of any bid that is substantially lower than the others. It probably indicates that the contractor made a mistake or is not including all the work quoted by his or her competitors.

You may be headed for a dispute with your contractor if you accept an abnormally low bid. It also is possible that a low-bidding contractor may cut corners or do substandard work to make a profit.”

Estimates that are written on the back of a business card are worthless – because all you will know is the price.

  • Roofing contractors that will provide you with an estimate over the phone without making a physical examination of your roof should be avoided. This is unprofessional and in the industry it is referred to as a “guestimate”.
  • Unless a roofing contractor makes a physical examination of your roof, they will only be guessing and that can lead to nasty surprise price increases once your roof is torn off or once they start the “repair” that suddenly turns into a new roof.

We will meet with you so we can ask specific questions to make sure we understand your roofing needs. We then climb up on every roof and conduct a physical examination of your roof. At that point we will prepare a written proposal for your review.

The roofing industry in Orange County is competitive but price should not be the most important factor in your decision especially since your roof should provide you with a minimum of 10 years of worry free protection from the elements.

We back up our work with a 10-year warranty on labor/installation that is almost double what most of our competitors offer.

I appreciate your time and the opportunity to earn your business. I look forward to answering your questions about your roofing needs.

Quality and Dependability for Roofing

Now that you have done several jobs for me, I wanted to take a moment and let you know I appreciate you; returning my calls, having complete written bids to review and following up on each job until it has been completed. I have recommended you to friends, co-workers, and clients of mine.
